$1m top prize at 888.com World Poker Crown

Leading online gaming house 888.com is offering its largest ever prize pool for poker fans who compete in its new World Poker Crown (WPC).
The global tournament will have a massive $3 million (£1.5 million) prize pool up for grabs, with $1 million going straight to whoever bags the first-place spot at final table in Barcelona, Spain.
Direct buy-ins for the WPC are a sizable $1,000+$50, but with cash prizes being dished out to one in every ten participants seasoned players will have great odds of walking away with their share of the winnings.
"The WPC is a very exciting new poker tournament and the biggest we have ever offered players," remarked 888.com marketing director Matt Robinson. "Anyone can take the World Poker Crown, win the million dollars first prize and become a poker legend."
Pacific Poker is also running a promotional offer alongside its partner 888.com which will see numerous players qualify free of charge simply by taking part in one of numerous online satellites.
Action from the final table will be televised on Sky Sports 2 on May 12th.
