120 WSOP seats up for grabs at Bodog
8th February, 2008
Bodog looks set to be one of the main names at this year's World Series of Poker in Las Vegas after securing 120 seats at the event.
Any gamers who play online poker at the operator's popular website will now have a reasonable chance to win a prize package for the tournament, with three satellites being held on a weekly basis from now until June.
Tournaments are running every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and each of semi-finals will pay out at least one $12,000 (£6,150) WSOP prize - covering the $10,000 buy-in as well as travel expenses.
Buy-ins for the satellites are $250 + $20, but the website will also be holding a series of qualifies with buy-ins as low as $1 - meaning all players have a fair shot of bagging one of the seats.
And with so many places up for grabs Bodog is placing extra emphasis on building a team spirit, with successful gamers receiving branded clothes, bags and gadgets as well as being escorted on their trip by a "personal handler".
The winners will also get a pass to VIP Players Lounge, allowing them to mingle with the pros and, according to an official press release, "meet the Bodog girls".
