2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships Launch Party

The launch party for the 2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships is to be held tomorrow in Calgary, in Alberta Canada. The party has been called the Ultimate Players Party and is to be begin at 7pm in the Snatch Rock ‘n’ Roll Lounge.
The party will feature performances from singer Suzie McNeil, who has recently been nominated 2008’s New Artist of the Year at the Juno awards, and is to be hosted by girls from the sponsors – Coors Light, Maxim and Heads-Up Entertainment.
Attendees already confirmed are: Jennifer Tilly, the actress and poker player, and poker professionals, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Brad Booth and finally the 1996 World Series of Poker Main Event winner, Huckleberry Seed.
A small number of VIP tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster mid February but these are long sold out.
President and CEO of Heads-Up Entertainment, Kelly Kellner said: “This will be a night like Calgary has never seen, with some of Canada’s most beautiful women, international celebrities, poker pros and phenomenal entertainment in attendance. It is a must attend event and a rare opportunity to attend a Maxim party”.
