A subsidiary of internet giant AOL has confirmed that it is offering seats to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) this summer.

Popular online casino Games.com revealed that it will award six prize packages to poker enthusiasts over the coming weeks, with hopefuls battling it out in a series of No-Limit Texas Hold'Em tournaments between now and June 15th.

"Freeplay online poker continues to be one of our most popular categories on Games.com," noted AOL Games director Greg Mills.

"We are thrilled to continue our exclusive agreement with Harrah's License Company - the owners of the WSOP - to provide a chance for users to win a poker player's dream come true, a seat at the table with poker professionals. If they play their cards right, they could walk away with millions."

The structure of the qualifiers is such that gamers must first progress through one of a series of freeroll satellites before racking up in a Sunday winner-takes-all tournament.
