Absolute Poker holds Easter Egg hunt
20th March, 2008
Online gaming operator Absolute Poker is hosting a series of specially-themed poker tournaments this coming Eastern weekend.
Between Good Friday and Easter Monday, the virtual lobby of the online poker room will be randomly labelling a number of its regular games with the prefix EGG.
The operator has urged people who play online poker on its site to watch closely for such virtual eggs, as they will draw from an exclusive Easter bumper prize pool of $10,000 (£5,000).
Freerolls, sit-and-go tournaments and multi-table tournaments are all eligible for the special markings, meaning that gamers will have a good chance of stumbling across an egg in their favourite room.
And for anyone who misses out on the bonus offer, the operator will still be dishing out a massive $225,000 in guaranteed prize money over the long weekend.
That prize pool includes Absolute Poker's $150,000 Guaranteed Texas Hold'em tournament, which kicks off at 21:30 BST on Saturday (22nd March).
