Absolute Poker ups its game

Online poker operator Absolute Poker is kicking off the Christmas season with a series of extra online tournaments and $175,000 (£84,000) more guaranteed cash on offer this weekend.
The site is tempting poker players with a new set of online poker bonuses and more money to be won over the next month.
Its "festive freeroll", which is free to enter, is expected to prove a popular choice for online players this Christmas with a prize pool of $10,000.
Absolute Poker has continued to thrive in recent months, highlighting the growing popularity of online betting both in the US and the UK.
Last week, the website announced that one lucky member was about to play the site's billionth hand and win a prize package worth $6,968 - which guaranteed entry into a number of tournaments over the next month.
It also recently saw its Bad Beat Jackpot hit six figures twice in 24 hours with one online poker player walking away with a massive $308,379.
Meanwhile, online poker site Crazy Vegas Poker is also implementing some changes this Christmas having given its website a facelift.
The firm has added new content, links and graphics to the online gaming poker site which aims to make it more accessible and attractive to visitors from across the world.
