Bet365 trumps ECOOP II

Leading online gaming operator Bet365 Poker has confirmed that it will be staging the second annual European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) this May.
The series of tournaments will run over ten consecutive days and includes an exclusive $50,000 (£25,000) freeroll as well as the hotly-anticipated $1.5 million Guaranteed main event
In total some ten separate tournaments will be taking place, drawing from a colossal prize pool of over $3.5 million and spanning games such as Limit and No Limit Texas Hold'Em, Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo.
Bet365 poker manager Martin Willis said he believes ECOOP II constitutes a landmark date in the online poker calendar.
"Set this date firmly in your diary - 23rd May 2008," he said. "This is the start of the most important ten days of online poker so far this year. ECOOP II is your chance to prove yourself in the big game with over $3,500,000 up for grabs and a coveted ECOOP Bracelet for all Event winners."
To give everyone the chance to take part Bet365 will also be running a number of qualifying satellites for each of the events, with buy-ins starting from as little as $2.20.
