Betfair Poker is giving away 20 WSOPE satellite seats

Poker players will have the opportunity to play in the European World Series of Poker absolutely free, through Betfair Poker’s freeroll tournament to a satellite for entry into the main event.
PokerListings players who earn 250 points or more at Betfair Poker during the month of August will be automatically registered for an $11,000 freeroll that will award 20 seats to the $550 satellite to the WSOP Europe main event.
“As the inaugural World Series of Europe showed last year, moving the most storied event in poker across the pond lost nothing to translation,” said Hannah Mayen, PokerListings.com media relations director. “The players were absolutely A-list, the atmosphere was equally electric, and the iconic gold bracelet carried the same weight and prestige it always had. It was a seamless transition and an undeniable success, and edition two we can only expect to be more of the same. .”
The freeroll will take place on 3 September and the winners will play in the satellite that is scheduled for 7 September. This seems like a great opportunity for anyone who wants to play in the WSOP Europe, but doesn’t have an extra £10,000 lying around. This scheme from Betfair Poker means that this year’s winner of the WSOP Europe main event could easily have entered the tournament for free.
