Betfair Push Poker Brand

Betfair have really been trying to push their poker product as it lags behind the rest of their products at the moment. They have just recently appointed Bruce Stubbs as director of poker and he will be taking the position immediately.
Stubbs has been involved in online poker from the beginning, in his early days he was marketing director of Paradise Poker.
"Betfair is a unique organization that I have admired for some time," Stubbs said. "The brand values that Betfair extols fit with my personal views on how an online gaming site should operate and I think that they put Betfair in a unique position to become a major player in the online poker sector."
Stubb’s before he was offered the position acted as project manager on behalf of Betfair during the World Series of Poker Europe. Stubbs also had huge part in signing the poker superstar Annette Obrestad.
"This appointment is further evidence that we are taking our online poker business very seriously," said Betfair managing director Niall Wass. "We look forward to feeling [Stubbs'] impact on the development of our poker strategy."
