Bodog Patent Dispute

Bodog a leading poker site recently had to change their domain name because of a Patent Troll disbute regarding the Bodog name. It initially changed to New Bodog and now has changed again to Bodoglife.com
Bodog has recently completed a brand licensing deal with Morris Mohawk Gaming Group. The deal incorporates the use of all Bodog domains and the Bodog trademark for the operation and marketing of the gaming across North America.
Bodog effectively lost the use of its Bodog domain name in the US after an obscure patent case in the US courts brought on by aggressive and an opportunist case.
