Bodog unveils Poker Open satellite schedule
28th February, 2008
Leading online poker operator Bodog has unveiled details of its forthcoming satellite schedule for anyone who is looking to join the Bodog Poker Open through the back door.
The buy-in for Open's main event is a hefty $500 (£250), but 20 seats are up for grabs in a series of satellite tournament which will give everyone to chance to secure their place in the inaugural event.
This week has already seen a number of qualifiers bag places at the widely-anticipated tournament - and on every weekday until March 7th poker enthusiasts have the chance to secure one of the remaining seats in a bid to win the as-yet undetermined first place cash prize.
Satellites will be held daily at 01:35 BST with buy-ins ranging from $40+$4 to $69+6. The last game will take place just two days before the no-limit Texas Hold'Em main event gets underway on Sunday, March 9th.
In an effort to drum up support for the Open, Bodog has further committed to boosting the total prize pool by a massive $75,000, including a cool $25,000 cash injection for the main event.
