Boris Becker Joins Pokerstars

Three times Wimbledon champion Boris Becker is the latest star to join Team Pokerstars as one of their sponsored professionals. He will be appearing in live and online tournaments, as well as appearing in the new TV advertisements for the company.
Becker said: "When I was still playing professional tennis, I started learning to play poker casually in-between games because it helped me to improve my concentration. Now I want to develop my poker skills and challenge myself to become really competitive at the highest levels in poker."

Despite Pokerstars showing confidence in his skill sby signing him, he is now to undergo a heavy training regime to hone his skills before he joins the remaining legs of the European Poker Tour, starting with the EPT Dortmund at the end of January.
