Canadian named 2007 Tournament Titan

Online gaming website Titan Poker held its $1 million (£500,000) freeroll tournament for eligible VIP members on levels three to six on Saturday.
As part of its European Championship of Online Poker 2007 (ECOOP) tournament series, the website hosted Tournament Titan which saw 20 qualifying players battle it out with each player taking home a minimum prize of $25,000.
The first 18 players to qualify made the final table at three consecutive tournaments, while the last two finalist places were taken by winners of a points race.
Sorel Mizzi from Canada took home the top prize of $200,000 – including $188,000 in cash and a $12,000 package to the 2008 WSOP Main Event – along with the coveted title of Tournament Titan.
The player who took second place received $113,000 in cash and a $12,000 package to the 2008 WSOP Main Event.
Players from all over the globe took a place in the top 20, hailing from Australia, France and Spain to Sweden, UK and Russia.
