Celeb Poker starts new freeroll marathon

Leading online gaming operator Celeb Poker has announced that it is to host a series of freeroll events daily every hour between 11:00 and 23:00 BST.
The aptly-dubbed 11-11 promotion entails no rake requirement to join a table, so gamers can win cash prizes of up to 5,000 euros or even prize packages to major tournaments without ever laying down a buy-in.
CelebPoker chief executive Dave Donovan said that the idea is to open up the world of online poker to a host of new potential gaming fans.
"I want to attract lots of new players to the wonderful game," he said. "Although poker is a growing sport, there are still plenty of people who are unsure about the game or who haven't tried their hand at online software."
"This is the main reason for starting our online Poker Freeroll Marathon … The new '11-11' promotion is great because it will allow those players who are maybe new to the game or are used to playing for 'Play Money' to take that step up and pit their skills against real live competition."
Celeb Poker was voted the operator with the Best Poker Software in 2007 by readers of Gambling Online Magazine.
