Doyle Brunson Tries His Luck in the Film Industry

Doyle Brunson a household name of any standard poker player is now trying his luck in the film industry. The global warming documentary, The 11th Hour, funded in part by pro poker player Doyle Brunson and Hollywood A-Lister Leonardo DiCaprio is now being distributed by Warner Brothers Studios with the aims to educate the public and poker players alike about the world’s current environmental issues.
The film, narrated by DiCaprio, gives audiences a look at the consequences of global warming that is supported by experts such as Stephan Hawking and 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner and Kenyan activist Wangari Maathai.
Brunson is one of five executive producers who is given credit on the film and was quoted in a release on Friday, “We don’t know how things are in your life, but no matter what’s going on, this planet has got us beat.”
