EPT Dublin charity event set to reach 100,000 Euros

29th October, 2007

The Simon Poker Day is organized to raise money for the homeless. The tournament takes place on November 3rd in which the buy in is €330 in which €100 goes to the homeless charity and the remaining money goes in to the prize pool for the tournament. Last year the tournament had over 200 players which raised €50,000 from private and corporate donators this year it looks like they are going to be able to double that.

There are several sports stars that are registered for the tournament including Steve Davis, Ken Doherty and John Higgins, who are all snooker players. We can expect to see some top class poker players appearing in the tournament.
