Europe's largest pub poker league goes online

The Nuts Poker League, the largest of its kind in Europe, has launched its own online poker room.
Members of the league will now not only be able to hone their skills at their local but from the comfort of their own home after it joined forces with online gaming provider Inside Gaming.
Poker players will be invited to take part in specially designed "lock in" tournaments – specifically aimed at pub league players to allow the community feel established though pub games to be recreated on the web.
Managing director of the Nuts Poker League Steve Bellis said: "We have been looking to combine the pub poker league with an online offering for a while - but it was important that we took our time to find the right partner.
"Inside Gaming has grasped a true understanding of our business and has the flexibility to create bespoke tournaments to suit our players and allow us to continue creating the community environment that we've worked hard to establish."
With more than 19,000 registered members, the Nuts Poker League is the largest pub league on the continent and aims to provide players with "the Las Vegas experience in their local".
