European Championship of Online Poker II Unveiled

Online poker company, iPoker have recently unveiled the format of the second European Championships of Online Poker (ECOOP II). The online tournament is set to consist of ten separate tournaments over the duration of ten days. Each tournament will use a different game type, from Texas Hold’em to Omaha Hi-Lo.
The total guaranteed prize fund for the series of tournaments is over $3.5 million. The first of the tournaments will take place on May 23rd with a $200 buy-in and a $250,000 prize fund. The series then runs through eight other events to the main tournament held on June 2nd, with a $1.5m guaranteed prize fund and a buy-in of $1,000.
An extra aspect for the series is the leaderboard. This will be based on the standings from all the tournament with the top 100 at the end of the series participating in a £50,000 freeroll for the ECOOP II MVP crown.
Winners of all the tournaments and the winner of the ECOOP II MVP crown will, as well as their own personal winnings, receive a bracelet engraved with the tournaments they won.
