FTR launches Gauntlet VII

Imaginatively-named online poker room FlopTurnRiver.com (FTR) has launched Season VII of its popular Gauntlet series.
The poker league began on Sunday (May 18th) and is comprised of a series of $11 (£5.50) buy-in private tournaments held in conjunction with leading operator PokerStars.
Unlike in previous seasons, this time round poker players must choose from a maximum of 16 out of 32 events, with numerous games on offer besides staple no-limit Texas Hold'Em.
Gamers can choose to play from a mix of full-table or 6-max no-limit Hold'em, heads-up Hold'em matches or pot-limit Omaha/8 tourneys.
And as well as vying for the prestige of earning a podium position on the leadership board, the top three players will also win cash prizes of up to $300 as well as a selection of FTR merchandise.
Furthermore, once the season has finished the top ten players from this and previous seasons will all be invited to the FTR Tournament Of Champions (TOC).
