Full Tilt wins poker award

Online poker operator Full Tilt has been named Best Online Poker Room of the Year in a list compiled by internet portal Online Poker Insider.
According to the website, Full Tilt saw the biggest success in 2007 despite a tough year for many online poker rooms in the US and other countries across the globe.
Marc W, senior editor at Insider, said: "Online poker players are not going to disappear, and last year proved that this is a sustainable industry and not a passing fad.
"Full Tilt Poker was ideally positioned to take advantage of the adverse American legislation and gained so much market share that it was impossible for us to ignore their substantial achievements over the past 12 months."
He added that Full Tilt were "worthy winners on the night".
Other achievements were had by Bodog Poker - which was named Best Customer Service Of The Year - and Poker Stars which was praised for holding the Best Online Poker Tournaments Of The Year.
