Next week (January 7th-11th), NBC's party poker show Poker After Dark will see six contestants, all of whom share a penchant for the occasional 18 rounds of golf as well as cards, battle it out for the $120,000 (61,000) jackpot prize.

Among those sitting in on the game are Gavin Smith, holder of the the World Poker Tour's (WPT) Player of the Year for season IV, and David Oppenheim, who is generally considered one of the best limit high-stakes cash game players in the world, both on the show for the first time.

They will be joined by pros in the guise of Erick Lindgren, WPT Player of the Year for Season II and 15th on the WPT all-time money list; Phil Ivey, winner of five World Series of Poker bracelets; Doyle Brunson, back to back WSOP champion in 1976 and 1977; and Daniel Negreanu, owner of three WSOP bracelets and two WPT titles.

The match promises to be fun and frenetic as the poker players trade cards and golf stories. Brunson and Negreanu have each won a Poker After Dark title, while Ivey has won two and will be looking to become the first player to win a third.
