Hellmuth and Duke hold poker seminars

10th March, 2008

Two of the biggest names on the professional circuit - Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke - are to host a series of exclusive poker tutorials for Canadian poker enthusiasts.

The seminars will be held in several Canadian cities - including Toronot, Montreal and Ottawa - throughout March and April, with one member of the duo taking the lead instructor's role at each stop.

Hellmuth is popularly known as the Poker Brat given his firebrand tongue and short temper at the poker table, but with an unrivalled 11 World Series of Poker bracelets under his belt the renegade is widely regarded as one of the best - if not the best - player on the circuit.

Duke, meanwhile, has earned a name for dispensing poker advice to the likes of Ben Affleck, who accredits the star's tutorship with his unexpected victory at the 2004 California State Poker Championship.

It was confirmed last month that Hellmuth and Duke were going head-to-head in US reality TV Best Damn Poker Show, in which the duo are to mentor a number of hand-picked poker hopefuls.
