High Stakes Poker is the place to be for biggest in televised cash games. On November 5th the buy in for the series is set to rise from $100,000 up to a massive $500,000. It’s not surprising that there are already plenty of pro poker players who have signed up and are ready to sit down at the tables with half a million dollars.
Doyle Brunson one of the biggest names in the poker world, with 10 WSOP bracelets and his own poker room (Doyles Room). Jamie Gold the 2006 WSOP winner collecting over $12 million for winning the event will be sitting down at the table. Other players include Daniel Negreanu and Patrik Antonius, two of the biggest high rollers in the cash games.
Guy Laliberte a newcomer to the poker show will also be playing. Guy hasn’t many big wins to his name but he is well respected in the poker world and we can expect to see a lot more from him. He finished fourth in the $25,000 World Poker Tour Championship. Guy will be donating a portion of his winnings from High stakes poker to the One Drop Foundation. The foundation raises money for drinking water to selected communities in the developing world.
