Jeff Madsen Wins Borgata Winter Poker Open 2010

Jeff Madsen, a 24 year old poker pro has been announced as the winner of the main event of the Borgata winter poker open 2010. The player from Las Vegas added the title to his already impressive poker CV, bringing his tournament earnings total to more than $3.1 million.

Despite the Borgata Open no longer being a WPT event the $3,300 main event still manages to attract some of the biggest names in poker. 766 players took part making the prize pool worth nearly $2.5million. Madsen managed to take control of the event in the early stages and didnt look back.

A tired looking Madsen said of his victory; It feels good to get these big wins and to continue to prove myself in the poker world.
