28th May, 2008

Poker fans getting bored of the same old poker broadcasts will have two new shows to watch from Sky Poker, the online-poker firm.

The two shows are: Stacked Up and Sky Poker Unlimited. One is an interesting cash game competition, while the other is an all-inclusive look at all of Sky Pokers major events.

Hosted by Tony Tikay Kendall and Norman Pace, Stacked Up is a program dedicated to cash-game poker teams of three compete in cash-poker games online showing every Tuesday at 8:00pm GMT on Channel 846, Sky Poker.

The program provides an even playing field for novice players, poker experts and Sky Poker presenters, because the winner is decided by the team that increases its bankroll by the largest percent. Therefore, a team could win playing at either high or low stakes.

As the first TV show focused entirely on cash games Stacked Up will be a revolution in TV poker programming, said Pete Ward, head of channels for Sky Poker and Sky Bingo.

Sky Poker Unlimited, the other new show, will give poker fans in-depth analysis of all the major events at Sky poker. Airing on Channel 846 the program will include Satellites, cash games and tournaments.

With so much action happening at Sky Poker it is easy to miss the most exciting moments from the various tournaments, Ward said. Sky Poker Unlimited is hosted by the regular Sky Poker personalities and features the best from all of our tournaments, including The Open, Velocity and The Five 0.
