Online poker training courses launched
12th December, 2007
Poker community Card Player Media has joined forces with PokerSavvy Plus to offer poker players online training courses which it says are designed to "take their poker game to the next level".
A number of professional poker players will be on hand for the online classes which aim to train up the next generation of online gaming enthusiasts.
Evan 'Fisherman' Roberts, Dani 'Ansky' Stern, Chris 'tribefan9' Rhodes and Justin 'WPThero' Rollo will all be giving top tips to those who join the course and giving advice on strategy and technique.
As part of the training, subscribers will also be offered educational videos to encourage them to further improve their game.
Matt Crystal, chief executive of PokerSavvy which is providing the videos, said: "We are thrilled to be providing the Card Player community with top-notch online poker training videos.
"Our instructional poker video content will be a great resource for aspiring poker players as they seek to improve their game and interact with top online pros."
The growing popularity of poker has spawned hundreds of guides and training manuals ranging from books to computer software.
