PKR tops website hits poll

Virtual online poker house PKR has revealed that it came top in a recent poll by internet competitive intelligence service Hitwise.
The 3D poker room secured the number-one spot in the poker gambling category for the first quarter of this year, fending off stiff competition from rivals Ladbrokes Poker and William Hill Poker.
Hitwise measured the total number of hits originating from UK internet addresses between January and March and found that PKR proved more popular than any of its more-established rivals.
"We are extremely pleased with this award - we have seen some phenomenal growth and it's not slowing up," affirmed PKR marketing director Simon Prodger. "We have never accepted US players so to achieve the top ranking in the UK is fantastic."
The Hitwise Top 10 Poll excludes entries from poker community websites that are not primarily geared towards a UK audience.
