Leading online gaming operator PKR has launched a new tournament format for users of its online poker rooms.

The cutting-edge 3D poker house says it has combined the best elements of two of its old formats to create the Terminator Bounty tournaments.

People who play online poker with the operator can now take part in the brand new events every Wednesday at 19:00 BST, with a total prize pool of $10,000 (£5,000) up for grabs.

As well as offering cash prizes, the rules for the $30 buy-in events state that players will receive $5 back for every opponent they bust out of the game - giving an added incentive for aggressive play.

Guaranteed $100 bounties have also been placed on the heads of six players, further increasing opportunities to win.

PKR this month confirmed that it will be sending at least three qualifiers to the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Manila.
