PPA announces new membership benefits

22nd May, 2008

The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) has announced plans to offer new benefits to its members.

In a statement released earlier this week, the PPA said that members, who pay US$20 (£10) for their annual membership, will now receive a "custom collector's edition PPA poker chip" as well as the right to vote for the PPA board of directors' "at large member".

This will be in addition to several other existing benefits, including use of the PPA Litigation Support Network.

What's more, the PPA has enhanced its website, aimed at making it more beneficial for poker players. The site has become more interactive and now features blogs from each of teh PPA directors as well as improved forums.

Alfonse D'Amato, chairman of the PPA, commented: "The PPA has entered into the top tier of advocacy organisations, and we have only our members to thank. As such, we are constantly looking for ways to increase the value of a PPA membership.

"I am excited about the opportunities our new website and enhanced membership benefits offer to our members as we continue the fight to protect poker players' rights."
