Paddy Power marks billionth hand with giveaway

Paddy Power Poker is gearing up to deal its one billionth poker hand and it is marking the event with a series of generous giveaways.
The operator will begin the countdown to the momentous occasion with hand ID 950,000,000, designating every subsequent 200,000th hand a 'Countdown Hand'.
Anyone participating in such a hand will immediately be eligible for prizes of up to $14,000 (£7,000), while pot winners will have the chance to bag European Championship of Online Poker II tickets.
And as the landmark figure draws closer the prizes will become even more enticing, with every single player who participates in the final 100 hands receiving entry to an exclusive $10,000 freeroll.
However, the ultimate prize will be for the online poker player who wins the one billionth hand. He will be walking away with a $50,000 cash prize, while even the hand loser will bag a cool $30,000 for his trouble.
