Party Poker Celebrity Invitational

Online poker site Party Poker has announced that they are giving away 15 seats worth $3,000 each to the $200,000 World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational, an integral part of the LA Poker Classic.
The packages will include entry to the Celebrity Invitational in California alongside accommodation for four nights and $2,250 in spending money. The invitational will take place on 20th and 21st February at the Commerce Casino with the final table kicking off on TV on March 3rd.
“This tournament will be filled with Hollywood stars and poker gods,” read a statement from PartyPoker.com. “Last year, the event was won by poker professional Freddy Deeb. That said, with the stellar celebrity line-up, poor Freddie kept getting mistaken for Danny De Vito. The event is invitation only and PartyPoker.com can get you on the exclusive guest list. To win a package for the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational, all you need to do is use PartyPoints to enter the daily qualifiers.”
Qualifiers will take place at Party Poker each day until this Saturday with the final taking place on 31st January at 3.15pm.
Players who have not made any deposits before can still have a chance at winning a trip to LA with the special free roll which is taking place on 7th February at 2.45pm. To take part and win the one seat, players must make a first real-money deposit between now and February 6th. The winner will then join the celebrities and poker professionals for the main event in March.
