Party Poker invites Euro qualifiers

Players over at Party Poker can now attempt to qualify for the European Challenge II, being held March 11th - 14th.
The event is taking place at the Concord Card Casino during the Spring Poker Festival in Vienna and prize packages will include the $4,700 (£2,400) buy-in for the main poker event as well as six nights' accommodation, transfers to the casino and $1,100 spending money.
Sweetening the deal still further, European-based qualifiers will also be entered into a 1,000 euro (£750) freeroll event as well as taking part in the special 60-player East Vs West Team Cup on March 10th.
To qualify for the tournament prize package all you have to do is join one of the twice-weekly $300 + $20 online satellites being held on the website's online poker rooms.
Commenting on the forthcoming East Vs West special event, a Party Poker spokesman said: "The final table of ten will share 37,500 euros, while the winning team will get 22,500 euros split between them - so even if you go out in the first hand in the freeroll you stand to profit from successful team mates."
Last year, trainee lawyer Bruno Brunovic used his European Challenge online qualification to win the main event, taking home 190,160 euros in the process.
