Poker After Dark
5th November, 2007
There has been two new editions to the Poker After Dark that airs on Monday. Paul Wasicka and Alan “Boston” Dvorkis will join the table to compete for the $120,000 winner takes all prize this week. Paul Wiska has been one of the best tournament poker players, he came second in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event. He also came 12th in the 2007 Aussie Millions and came fourth in a final table World Poker Tour.
Alan hasn’t got big looking statistics like Paul but it has made a name for himself as a prolific talker at the tables.
"Alan is indeed an interesting character and viewers will not want to miss seeing him in action, as his presence at the table is anything but conventional," said a press release for the show.
With Mike “The Mouth” Matusow and Alan at the table it should make for an interesting week. Other players include Antiono Esfandiari, Mike Sexton and Jamie Gold. The show will bring Paul Wasicka and Jamie Gold together for the second time after Jamie took the win at the 2006 WSOP.
Matusow, Gold, Esfandiari and Sexton have all been on Poker After Dark before but none of them have actually managed to claim victory.
