Poker Million VII

3rd December, 2008

A Norwegian by the name GoNuts has been awarded the last semi-final place in the Poker Million VII tournament. He won the Ladbrokes Chase the Chair promotion to win his seat in the semi-final, and will now have the enormous task of defeating the likes of Roy Brindley a Ladbrokes sponsored player, and Tony G WSOP bracelet winner, who are all hungry for the $1million first prize.

GoNuts win play in the second of the semi-finals against the Devilfish, WSOP bracelet winner marty Smyth and Asian poker tour winner Tony G on 11th December.

He is guaranteed to win at least $20,000 and will most likely have the time of his life playing in the Sky Sports televised semi-finals and now has a 1 in 16 chance of winning the European Title.

MD of Ladbrokes Poker, Edward Ihre said, the way GoNuts luck is running he could find himself in the final although hell have to fight his way through a very tough field. The line up is brilliant and with the two final players will bring an unknown element to proceedings that is sure to produce two of the most exciting semis weve ever had.
