Poker in the Park – Littlewoods, Neteller & Blackbelt poker

17th August, 2009

During our time at Poker in the Park, we were able to speak to several of the other operators who were present during the event. Among these was Littlewoods Poker. We managed to ask Bruce at Littlewoods Poker a few questions regarding their presence at Poker in the Park.

It is the first year that Littlewoods poker had attended Poker in the Park, and was concentrating on providing value to poker whilst gaining good exposure for the Littlewoods brand, as many people were unaware of their Poker brand.

Littlewoods were offering visitors the chance to play poker with the professionals, including an appearance from Eastender’s Beppe (Michael Greco) who is a poker player himself.

Bruce claimed that they had experienced a very positive response from the event, with many people getting involved with their poker tables, so much so that they were fully booked all day!

Expect to see Littlewoods Poker back at Poker in the Park next year.

We also managed to drop by Neteller, the online payment service, who flew all the way from Canada to be in attendance, commenting saying that they loved the opportunity to meet their public, and put a face to their brand.

We had time to check out one of the more growing brands there, ‘Black belt Poker’.

These guys run and operate a poker site which acts as a community for poker players both novice and professional, giving players the chance to rank up through different coloured belts. Having only been running for 3-4 months, they expect to be launching a poker room of their own within the coming weeks.
