Report: Seda1's identity revealed
25th February, 2008
An unconfirmed report on poker-king.com is claiming that the secret identity of beleaguered online poker player seda1 has been revealed.
The high-spending mystery figure has been locked in a showdown with Full Tilt Poker professional Phil Ivey, who last week notched up major win after taking $600,000 (£305,000) off the hapless gamer.
Undeterred as ever Seda1 pressed on with his campaign by snatching back $195,000 from his arch nemesis last Thursday, which prompted a flurry of further speculation about the identity of the heavily-bankrolled enigma.
Claiming to have answered that mystery, a report on poker-king.com has dispelled rumours that it could be famed poker car-crash Jaz-Z - insisting that the man behind the cards is Beverly Hills businessman Shawn Sedaghat.
The website notes the similarity between Sedaghat's real name and his alleged online moniker, adding that the multi-millionaire businessman won $29,925 at the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event.
While we await confirmation, the seemingly never-ending battle between Seda1 and Ivey rages on. The duo now hold all ten slots in the PokerListings.com 'biggest online pots of the last month' list and neither side has expressed any willingness to back down.
