Santa Come To Sky Poker!

Sky Poker is hosting a rather special poker player at their online poker site, Santa Claus! That’s right Father Christmas will be a bounty player in the headline 8pm tournament every night. He will horde his winnings inside his Christmas sack in addition to any winnings from any other tournament he enters. The winnings will build the guarantee for Santa’s Xmas Sack tournament on the 27th December. Qualifiers for this tournament will be the players who manage to knock out Santa from the online tournaments.
Players can also qualify for the tournament by demonstrating impressive play on the cash tables or if Santa thinks you’ve suffered a particularly bad beat. The sky poker forum will also run competition where you can win your seat.
Santa’s sack wouldn’t be the same if it just had cash, there’s £1000 worth of mystery prizes up for grabs too! These include: an HD television, a games console and tickets to the the live Sky Poker Tour, in Newcastle on January 9th 2010.
Players can find Santa each night using the ‘find a player’ function and by searching SKYSANTA. There will be some nights when Santa isn’t playing. At these times Santa will have his helpers: SKYRUDOLF and SKY_ELF, who will play in Santa’s place. They will all be playing under the star avatar to make them easy to identify.
