Titan announces land-based tournament

Titan Poker, an online poker site, has announced plans to sponsor its first ever land-based tournament this spring.
Taking place in May, the Eurocity Poker Tour (EPT) will be held in the Spanish capital Madrid in May of this year.
Just 200 top poker players will take part in the event at the Casino Gran Madrid, each enjoying a $3,000 package from Titan including flights and accommodation.
"At the rate of our expansion, and considering the number of players we are sending to tournaments every month, it only makes sense that Titan Poker should take it to the next level," a spokeswoman for the firm said.
"We are already making a huge presence at these tournaments. Now that Titan Poker is the sponsor, it will just be more visible!"
Other upcoming events include the Irish Open taking place in Dublin in March and the World Poker Showdown Ocean World, being held in the Dominican Republic in May.
