Long-time sponsored UltimateBet poker player Annie Duke has been announced as the new manager of the online poker site's tournament schedule.
Ms Duke, who is number two on the women's all-time money list, has earned more than $3.5 million (£1.25 million) from various tournaments including several World Series of Poker events.
UltimateBet is also planning to add new leaderboard competitions to help make the online poker site the "most exciting, most lucrative place for Texas Hold'em fans to hone their game", which it also helps to achieve with the creation of new promotions.
George MacLean, UltimateBet spokesperson, said that Ms Duke is a welcome addition to its management team.
He commented: "Annie Duke has a proven track record of not only playing the game but also knowing exactly what online poker players want to see in a tournament schedule. We're confident that her unparalleled insight will significantly enhance our poker offering and strengthen our online poker community."
UltimateBet also announced that a new events schedule will be launched on Monday, April 28th.
