WSOP Radio goes on the air

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has launched a weekly radio show exclusively for poker aficionados.
Airing online as well as on some 200 stations around America, the two-hour broadcast aims to raise the game's profile as well as dispensing useful poker news and advice.
All the major tournaments will be covered by the WSOP Radio and guests on the show will be drawn from a wide range of celebrities, professionals and experts - all taking part in live discussions about the industry and its major players.
"World Series of Poker Radio is the latest addition to our broadcasting and new media portfolio and opens up a new way for us to connect with our fans and players," said WSOP commissioner Jeffrey Pollack. "We're now on the air every week with the biggest names in the game, news from the WSOP and insights from top poker analysts."
Listeners are also invited to call in to the show to register their opinions about hot topics of the week and producer Bluff Media says plans are afoot roll the broadcast out to more affiliates shortly.
