Women's poker tour kicks off next week

Women are being invited to head to Mississippi this weekend to take part in the High Heels Poker Tour live event at the Gold Strike Casino.
The event, taking place on January 6th, is being held as part of the World Series of Poker Circuit stop with a second show to follow in February.
High Heels Poker Tour was launched last year to give female players a platform on which to hone their card skills.
To become a member of the club, female poker players pay just $30 (£15) a year through which they will be able to access information on upcoming events, hotel discounts, giveaways and eligibility for free seat drawings.
The Mississippi Gold Strike casino is certainly seeing plenty of action over the next week tomorrow it will be hosting a $300 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament to mark the start of the World Poker Open.
Last year, more than 5,600 players took part in the first few events of the World poker open and played for a share in the prize pool of more than $4.55 million.
