World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic Standings Update

28th February, 2008

Yesterday was the penultimate day of the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic.

Phil Ivey began the day as chip leader and play crossed between himself and Phil Hellmuth, swapping the lead on more than one accession. Towards the end Phil Ivey once again took the chip lead, taking a huge pot off Hellmuth. Former World Poker Tour champion, Nam Le is still in the running but has least chips left, although one good hand his way could change the outcome.

The standings going into today’s final table are as follows:

  1. Phil Ivey – 4,100,000
  2. Scott Montgomery – 2,680,000
  3. Phil Hellmuth – 2,380,000
  4. Charles Moore – 1,510,000
  5. Quinn Do – 1,450,000
  6. Nam Le – 1,180,000
