Too Desperate For a Game of Poker

A man from Jacksonville, Florida was far too eager for a game of poker on Wednesday as he was arrested for leaving his kids in the car while he was sat in a poker room. The 36 year old man left children (aged 3 and 7) alone in the car, leaving the motor running the whole time, while he took part in a game of poker. Police officers at the scene found the father in the poker room, where he insisted that he had only played a few hands. Eventually their distraught mother picked them up, leaving her husband to be charged on two accounts of child neglect.
