US Players defy law to continue to gamble online.

Cyber Security site Scan Safe Ltd has reported that despite the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.

It has been made harder for US customers to make best following the withdrawl of Neteller from the gaming operators. Other big payment processors have also begun backing out of the market. However, start up companies are emerging to take the place of the bigger companies. YouTeller and EZIPay are among the new companies who are being used by online gaming operators.

The number of hits to online gambling sites in January was up 77% so US players are finding ways around the laws. Whether or not they are real money players cannot be determined by ScanSafe but they could reveal that they process and examine over 6 billion hit requests a month.
