Allen Cunningham attended UCLA studying Civil Engineering, before leaving University to become a professional poker player. Maybe not one of the most well known of the Full Tilt team, Cunningham keeps his head down unless he is winning! Weeks after turning 21 Cunningham has been on the pro circuit playing and perfecting his game. While touring he met up with Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu and John Juanda who were all around the same age and are now some of the best in the world. This friendship helped all of them improve their game.

He began at the tender age of 18, touring Indian casinos. Cunningham, who plays online exclusively at Full Tilt Poker, used to be a sponsored pro of Full Tilt and went on to become a member of Team Full Tilt in 2006. Cunningham became 2005 ESPN/Toyota Player of the Year and nearly repeated the feat in 2006.

Cunningham’s largest tournament payout to date was at the 2006 WSOP. He finished fourth in the main event to claim a prize of $3,628,513. Allen Cunningham is one of a hand full of players to have won a WSOP Bracelet three years consecutively. His total live tournament winnings have surpassed $8,900,000.
