Carlos Mortensen

Originally from Eucador, Mortensen moved the Las Vegas to pusue his love of poker where he turned pro.

He has a reputation as a very agressive competitor who is ruthless on the poker table.

A member of the Full Tilt team Mortensen classes his win against Dewey Tomko as one of the greatest moments of his career. The two faced off at the 2001 WSOP, at 29 Mortensen beat Tomko and walked away with a prize pool of $1,500,000 and a gold WSOP bracelet.

Since then he has walked away with millions of dollars in cash prizes, as well as becoming the second person, behind Doyle Brunson to win both the WPT and WSOP.
