Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan is one of the first stars of poker. He is an icon in the poker scene with a total of 10 WSOP bracelets and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2002. Playing poker professionally since the age of 16 Chan is a force to be reckoned with, at 50 years old Chan continues to stand out as an all round player, he gained a seat at the 2006 WSOP and mentored the winner of the tournament Jamie Gold.

He writes countless articles for Poker magazines and books.

Johnny gained extra recognition when he appeared as himself in the 1998 movie Rounders and which also featured footage from his 1988 win at the WSOP.

Having been beaten by Phil Hellmuth in 1989 at the WSOP, Chan got his chance to redeem himself when the 2 met up at the 2002 WSOP table
